Nampak Cartons Nigeria Ltd is one of the worlds largest producer of lithographic and gravure printed folding cartons and labels.
They are currently recruiting for the position of a Cost and Management Accountant
Day to day responsibilities:
Supervision of day to day activities of the factory cost accounting function.
Ensure that all relevant transactions took place before the closure of work orders.
Maintain bill of materials for existing and new products.
Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies and reporting on work order variances.
Work closely with planning to ensure that the costing systems are comparable.
Accounting:
The desired candidate is expected to perform most accounting duties
Accounting System:
Maintaining the accounting system master data.
Jobs Qualification:
Must be a Chartered Accountant.
B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Business Administration or any related discipline.
Have a minimum of 5 years costing experience in a manufacturing environment.
Have experience in using ERP system, preferable Accpac or Syspro.
Have advanced excel skills.
Be able to work independently and under pressure and meet deadlines.
Have good interpersonal and analytical skills.
Have a high level of accuracy and pay great attention to detail.
