We offer skills training that make our trainees upon graduation to be employable into service sector(s) [labour market], also able to start a small & medium scale enterprise [SME] and also able to penetrate and compete with prevailing competitors. All our trainings are hand-on. We also offer service/ product sales in the areas of our trainings to the general public, hence providing real-life trainings to our trainees. We need qualified candidates to fill this position.


Job Summary

The prospective Employee will be directly involved in training our trainees satisfactorily within the time frame allocated for the said course, on everything that is involved in the said job responsibility. Directly responsible for all kitchen functions including food purchasing, preparation and maintenance of quality standards; sanitation and cleanliness; training of Trainees in methods of cooking, preparation, plate presentation, portion and cost control and sanitation and cleanliness.

Directly responsible for all bakery functions, including raw material requisitions, preparation of bakery products (breads, pastries and cakes etc.), maintenance of quality standards; sanitation and cleanliness; training of Trainees in methods of bakery preparation, yields, cost control and sanitation and cleanliness. Also, He/ She will responsible for identifying new business opportunities for the Bakery.


Responsibilities



  • Specialization in the field.

  • Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials and practical classes.

  • Assess student assignments and grade student performance.

  • Supervise students.

  • Discuss with students their progress and/or aspirations.

  • Organise and conduct field trips and excursions or other learning activities.

  • Plan courses in consultation with other staff, arrange course timetables, coordinate and supervise His/ Her assistants to conduct classes.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.




Qualifications/Experience:



  • Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.

  • B.SC/HND in Catering/ Hotel Management, Food science and others

  • Experience; minimum of 2 years experience.

  • All applicants must be computer literate, dynamic and result-oriented.
